“Holy Spirit, Ignite Your Fire in Me!”

September 2019 we began a week parish program here at St. Patrick Church,  the Holy Spirit Project. We are asking God’s Holy Spirit to ignite his love, his passion for Christ in us again. In a world that needs transformation, we are asking the Spirit to bring us hope, creativity and daring to bring the Gospel into all those we live and work. We want Whitewater to be set on fire with God the Father’s love.

Each week you will be bringing home a common prayer to the Holy Spirit that we have formulated from that week’s Gospel reading. Together we are bringing home with us the fire of God’s love that we have received in the Eucharist and in our common prayers at Mass. We do not, however, want to return to church without bringing life back to church with us. The Prayer Contribution Sheets are a way for you to note what you are thankful for, what and whom you are praying for and what you are offering to God from the week. These sheets can be folded and placed in the Fire Bucket in the front of Church. These prayers will be brought to the Schoenstatt Shrine in Waukesha and burnt as a sign that they are being given to God.

Please take a moment and share your experiences ,  Your response will be sent to the Fr. Mark and staff so we can continue to create faith filled experiences for all our parishioners.
