Fruit of the Spirit Christmas Tree

Fruit of the Spirit Christmas Tree

We would like to invite all parishioners to help us decorate the Fruit of the Spirt Christmas Tree.  Create a fruit ornament from our Holy Spirit Fruit Initiative and place on the tree.
We ask for no dried fruit ornaments since we have wonderful furry tenants that will climb the tree to feast.
The tree will be behind church by the parking lot.  You can place your ornament on the tree or drop them in the box by the library and our elves will hang them for you.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s creation and how beautiful our Christmas Fruit Tree will become.
Here are some ideas to get your juices flowing:
Turn a pine cone into a pineapple or strawberry, just add a little paint and a stem.
Watermelon and banana use old plastic ice cream pail or milk bottle and cut out your shape and paint.
Use Bottle caps to create your own bunch of grapes or cherries.  A little paint and connect using yarn or pipe cleaners
Salt Dough - easy to make and you can shape anyway you want.  Here is a recipe.
